Quality Control Auditor

Job Purpose: Sanmina is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Final Audit Inspection team. The Inspector will monitor, evaluate, and inspect the quality of electronic equipment, including visual/mechanical inspection, solder workmanship, and documentation accuracy. The Inspector will work closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.

• Perform quality control inspection of new, repaired, and finished products prior to shipment
• Conduct quality checks and tests on products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Monitor processes and the operating system for the production and repair of customer products
• Support customer data and special reporting requests such as first articles and certificates of compliance
• Perform periodic audits of the production operation in compliance with ISO and TL requirements
• Support product and process improvements to meet quality and operational performance goals
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Identify and report any non-conformances or defects in products
• Communicate and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders on quality issues and improvement opportunities
• Duties as assigned
• Ability to sit, stand, and bend for long periods
• Overtime is required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control or inspection role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances
• Soldering experience or certification is desired
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 8D Problem Solving, and 5S preferred
• Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and offer improvement ideas
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Experience using hand tools, measurement tools and equipment; knowledge of torque requirements
