** BARISTA**## The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun and outgoing people to join our team and work part time as a Barista in our Café. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry. ** As a Barista on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:*** ## Welcome and provide personalized service to all guests.* ## Assist guests by helping take orders and suggesting daily specials.* ## Prepare foods and drinks such as fruit and coffee drinks or smoothies.* ## Arrange food in the pastry case and inform kitchen when items need to be restocked.
* ## Wipe spills and maintain cleanliness of all appliances, espresso machine and counter space throughout the shift.* ## Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.* ## Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silverware prior to use.* ## Able to work with point of sale software and inventory software.* ## Must know about the entire property, services, hours of operation, locations, and nearby places of interest, etc.##

** The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:*** ## Previous experience in similar role.* ## Ability to work the hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.* ## Knowledgeable in preparing lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and other specialty coffees and teas.* ## Excellent customer service skills.* ## Dependability and regular attendance.* ## Must be willing to learn work in other areas of the hotel to assist as needed.
