Position Summary

At Sam’s Club, you will serve members by providing support and operating front-end equipment. You will manage checkout operations, resolve member issues, promote products, and maintain a safe, organized environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide member service and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
  • Maintain the checkout area and process member purchases.
  • Assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
  • Handle merchandise properly and correct unsafe situations.
  • Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
  • Assist members with locating merchandise, making purchasing decisions, and transporting items.
  • Maintain a safe shopping environment and zone the area appropriately.
  • Review member receipts and safeguard Sam’s Club assets by observing potential criminal activity.
  • Maintain required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
  • Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
  • Assist with training new associates on company processes and technology.
  • Deliver rollout training for new programs and provide continuous learning opportunities.
  • Identify shrink and damages and report them.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
  • Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
  • Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
