Job Description

As a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic logistics location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine rounds, and strong communication.

This role offers the chance to provide customer service, observe and report security-related concerns, and be part of a team that leads with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a warehouse or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading docks, parking areas, trailers, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while following site protocols for entry, exit, and package or vehicle movement.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or while assigned to a post, and assist with follow-up according to site procedures.

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
