Field Service Technician – Gpac (Kenosha, WI)

Gpac is partnered with a well-established, family‑owned and operated Industrial Machinery & Equipment company in search of a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates looking to join a reputable company in a fast‑paced and challenging role.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose construction equipment and crushing/screening equipment for needed repairs and perform designated repairs on customer or company‑owned machines as directed. Repairs are made on, but not limited to, Liebherr, Roadtec, Gomaco, Manitowoc, Grove, and other various brands of equipment.
• Apply technician skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of construction, mining, paving, and lifting equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep.
• Detect faults through the use of diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments in all machine systems: electronics, hydraulics, power train, engines, and general machine performance.
• Occasionally operate a machine to determine repair needs or assess repairs.
• Disassemble and assemble machines and components to the manufacturer’s specifications using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized tooling provided by the company.

• Must have CDL.
• Must have 3-5 years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of basic tools and tool usage, including basic welding skills.
• Operate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑reliant.
• Little to no supervision needed.
• Team player.
• Proactive.
