Responsibilities- Performs the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Operates power industrial truck to transport material within the facility.
- Performs quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.
- Picks and stages orders for shipping.
- Loads, unloads, places, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
- Executes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
- Uses handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders.
- Maintains inventory accuracy.
- Handles and controls hazardous material on inbound and outbound shipments.
- Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
- Completes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.
- Uses PPE appropriate to tasks.
- Is certified on sit-down, dock stocker, and powered pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
- Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Can lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.
- Performs activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
2nd shift position:
Monday-Friday, 3:45 pm to 12:15 am.
- 1 year proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
- Proficiency in operating industrial forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including stand-up reach, sit-down order picker, and pallet jack.
- Certification on powered industrial trucks (sit-down, dock stocker, powered pallet jacks).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Full knowledge of all functions within own area.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Experience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving, and loading functions.
- Certification in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks).
Pay: $21.00 per hour.
In addition to base pay, the role offers a performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 3% of base pay.
