Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a dependable Facilities Assistant to keep our corporate office running smoothly.

Pay: $21.00 per hour ($43,680 - $43,681 per year) on a stable first shift (7 AM – 5 PM).

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drywall, painting, doors, locks, and restrooms.
• Install, reconfigure, and repair modular workstations and office setups.
• Set up and tear down corporate events.
• Install interior artwork to maintain a professional look.
• Perform facilities tasks across corporate offices, branches, and off‑site locations, filling in for other facilities departments as needed.
• Assist and fill in for other departments within Facilities as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of this role.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  
  3‑5 years in one or more of the following areas:
  • Commercial office furniture (modular/case goods)
  • Painting, plumbing, lighting maintenance, or rough/finish carpentry
  • Floor and tile installation
  • Event support
• Skills:
  
  Prior experience utilizing hand and power tools, custodial, building maintenance, grounds keeping, general labor, plumbing, lighting, carpentry work, painting, oral communication, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, multi‑tasking, convention services, facilities maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Solid understanding of OSHA‑required PPE and blood borne pathogens.
• License:
  Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to drive company vehicles and travel as required.
• Attendance:
  Record of regular and reliable attendance.

• Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs occasionally (30‑60% of the time).
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, and reach frequently.
• Ability to work comfortably in a moderate noise environment (corporate office) with occasional exposure to high noise levels and proximity to machinery when in the warehouse.
• Work standing for up to 8 hours and smoke‑free environment.
