Solar Welder - Cunningham II

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Mechanic that will be responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications.

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials
• Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blue prints and specifications
• Assist engineering with prints and documentation design
• Conduct daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
• Apply basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting related to welding component parts
• Perform general cleanup and clearing of debris
• Lift up to 50 lbs and walk a minimum of 10 miles a day in various weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Welding Certification (State) (required)
• Strong teamwork orientation; detail orientation; strong organizational skills
• Active listening skills and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
