Mobile Field Service Technician – Wisconsin (Remote)

Join our team as a Mobile Field Service Technician and contribute to Terex’s Service Team. This role supports the company’s mission to deliver quality, innovative solutions while fostering an inclusive and safety‑first culture.

• Strictly follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Expertly repair and replace critical components of refuse collection vehicles, heavy machinery, and utility equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and inspections according to established schedules to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring proper operation and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Northern Idaho area to provide on‑site service and support as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, repairs, and parts used for documentation and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and enhance overall service quality.

• Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, battery‑operated impact gun).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment in a Field Service role.
• Demonstrated skill with mechanical and welding tasks using hand and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to pass an MVR, obtain and maintain a DOT qualification, and willingness to submit to a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
• 5+ years in a similar field (in addition to the aforementioned experience).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in mechanical tasks, including use of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and background in basic welding, cutting, and layout operations for equipment repairs.

• Willingness to work varied hours and be on the road up to three to four nights per week.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights, climbing ladders, accessing vehicles from various positions, lifting or pulling up to 40 lbs, and operating in diverse weather conditions.
