Centrisys is a U.S.A. manufacturer of dewatering centrifuges and sludge thickeners, as well as complete dewatering systems for Municipal and Industrial Wastewater. The company’s focus is centrifuge equipment, including the award-winning sludge thickener THK series. Centrisys provides global service, repair, and parts for all brands of centrifuges.
We are currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician
.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to provide technical assistance, diagnose equipment issues, and offer solutions for resolving problems related to electro-mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, pumps, generators, conveyors, robotics, and other machinery
- Utilize your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to analyze and identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions and implement effective repair strategies
- Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new electro-mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and function properly
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment inspections, repairs performed, parts used, and any other relevant information Prepare detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, providing technical guidance, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of electromechanical equipment, emphasizing safety protocols and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electro-mechanical systems. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our product
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional programming certifications or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
- Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician or a similar role, with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including wiring, circuitry, motors, and mechanical components
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently in a variety of customer environments.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Travel required- 50 to 75%
