Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters! NEOGEN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Randolph, Wisconsin team on second shift. In this mid‑level role, you will help keep our facility, equipment, and grounds operating safely and efficiently by performing installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on maintenance professional with mechanical aptitude and an electrical focus who takes pride in quality work, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and manage installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting for facility systems, equipment, fixtures, and grounds in accordance with established procedures.
- Repair and maintain mechanical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC‑related equipment, refrigeration equipment, and other facility assets to support safe and effective operations.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner and manage scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
- Operate and maintain a variety of machinery, equipment, diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, and recommend needed purchases to support maintenance operations.
- Coordinate with outside contractors as needed and perform duties in alignment with safety standards, quality expectations, and company policies.
- High school education or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in a maintenance trade or relevant vocational school training.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and related documentation.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages using U.S. units of weight and measurement.
- Ability to communicate in English sufficiently to understand safety instructions, procedures, and work‑related information.
- Ability to perform essential physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using tools, and occasionally lifting and or moving up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Second‑shift schedule:
Monday 12:30 a.m.–6:00 a.m. and Monday‑Thursday 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., offering a 3.5‑day workweek and 3.5‑day weekend.
