Maintenance Technician

Location: Kenosha, WI

Wage: $30.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
  • Complete corrective maintenance and repairs on production equipment, tools, and support systems.
  • Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities, parts used, and repair work performed.
  • Support installation and setup of new equipment and upgrades as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and assist in maintaining a clean, organized work area.
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational certification in maintenance, industrial technology, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or industrial repair preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic instrumentation is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work orders, and schematics.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Physical requirements:

    lifting, standing, walking, bending, and working with tools and equipment; must perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
