You are responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment directly at customer sites.

You act as the company's technical representative in the field, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and delivering a professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission equipment at customer sites
  • Perform adjustments and functional validation
  • Confirm full operational readiness before handover
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic issues
  • Perform on‑site repairs and adjustments
  • Identify root causes and ensure durable solutions
Maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities
  • Identify risk of failures and recommend actions
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards
Customer & Training
  • Explain interventions and provide recommendations
  • Train operators on equipment usage and maintenance
  • Maintain professional and structured communication
Documentation & Improvement
  • Complete service reports accurately and on time
  • Document recurring issues and elevate as required

    Contribute to continuous equipment improvement
Your DNA for the Role Experience
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, or installation of industrial equipment
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is an asset
  • Comfortable with physical work and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Education & Training
  • Technical diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electromechanics, or equivalent
  • Technical training in industrial maintenance is an asset
Technical skills
  • Mechanical & Electrical skills on industrial machines
  • Electrical panel wiring, troubleshooting, and programming
  • Welding & polishing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents
  • Structured troubleshooting and problem‑solving approach
Operational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and field urgencies
  • Strong focus on safety and execution rigor
  • Results‑oriented with fast problem resolution
Key attributes
  • Autonomous and accountable on site
  • Adaptable to changing environments and frequent travel
Mobility
  • Frequent travel required, including weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license required
Languages
  • A second language is an asset.
At 6 Months
  • You will have completed your technical onboarding and be autonomous on standard installations and service calls.
  • You will have built solid working relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • You will be familiar with DTI equipment, procedures, and service standards.
At 12 Months
  • You will be a trusted field reference for installations, troubleshooting, and customer support.
  • You will actively contribute to improving service methods and equipment reliability through structured field feedback.
  • You will be recognized for your autonomy, technical rigor, and professional customer approach.
