Join Uline Inc. as an Overnight Forklift / Diesel Mechanic, keeping our high-volume wholesale distribution operation running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts, diesel equipment, and related warehouse machinery, performing both emergency fixes and scheduled preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and keep our 24/7 operation safe and efficient. Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts, diesel-powered equipment, and related warehouse machinery.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools.
- Document work performed in maintenance systems and follow company procedures.
- Respond to urgent repair requests during overnight shifts to keep operations running.
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to prioritize repair needs.
- Assist with parts identification, ordering, and inventory for maintenance tasks.
