Industrial Millwright / Service Technician

Location: Albany, Wisconsin Area

Travel: Local daily travel to customer locations; routine overnight travel is not expected

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year

Schedule: M-F 8a - 4p

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is supporting an established industrial equipment organization in the search for an experienced Industrial Millwright / Service Technician serving customers throughout the Albany, Wisconsin area.

This hands-on field service position supports the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of specialized industrial separation and processing equipment used in production environments. The position combines millwright expertise, mechanical troubleshooting, equipment installation, and customer-site service work.

The technician will travel to customer facilities throughout the surrounding area during the workday to install new equipment and service existing machinery. A company truck and company tools are provided.

• Install specialized industrial processing and separation equipment at customer facilities
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and service mechanical equipment and related processing systems
• Diagnose issues involving pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, and other rotating equipment
• Disassemble, repair, rebuild, align, and reinstall mechanical components as needed
• Perform millwright work involving machinery installation, equipment alignment, rigging, bearing replacement, and shaft and coupling work
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, vibration, alignment concerns, and other conditions that may affect equipment reliability
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance designed to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics while completing installations and repairs

• Previous industrial millwright, industrial mechanic, field service, or related industrial mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors, shafts, couplings, and rotating equipment
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and rigging equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Ability to work independently while performing service work at customer locations
• Ability to safely lift, climb, bend, kneel, and work around industrial machinery
• Commitment to safe work practices, including proper lockout/tagout procedures
• Ability to travel locally to customer locations throughout the Albany, Wisconsin area

• Experience with industrial separation or processing equipment
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Basic hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience servicing pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and other rotating equipment

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
