Position Summary

A Kenosha area school is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to serve students in a range of grades and specialized programs. This vital role focuses on helping students overcome emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Prefer in‑person, but would consider hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment & Evaluation:
    Conduct psychological and psycho‑educational assessments to identify student strengths and challenges.
  • Intervention & Support:
    Develop and implement strategies, including individual or group counseling, to address behavioral, emotional, and learning needs.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate services and support student success.
  • Crisis Prevention & Response:
    Provide leadership and direct services during crises, and help develop school‑wide prevention and mental health programs.
  • Consultation & Advocacy:
    Advise staff on effective interventions and accommodations, and advocate for students' mental health and educational needs.
Qualifications
  • Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment.
  • Experience in the field and ability to obtain DPI license if not already held.
  • Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred.
  • Master's degree in psychology preferred.
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR if applicable.
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable.
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
