As a Non CDL Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries to other Viking Electric locations and assist with unloading.
When the route is complete, you will assist throughout the Warehouse where needed.
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
- Transport and deliver products with care
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
- Valid driver’s license
- Be at least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). math skills (add and subtract numbers) - Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
