Part-Time Shipping Assistant

The Part-Time Shipping Assistant role at All About Learning Press (AALP) is a hands‑on position responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring that products are prepared, stored, and shipped accurately while maintaining facility standards. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage routine tasks independently.

This is an on‑site, part‑time role that supports the operations team.

• Maintain warehouse and outdoor areas by keeping concrete pads swept, clear of debris, and free of snow as needed.
• Ensure all shipping boxes and packing materials are stocked and organized.
• Keep the warehouse clean, neat, and orderly, including routine sweeping (weekly on Fridays).
• Empty wastebaskets and manage recycling, including:
  • Taking out recycling on Wednesdays
  • Returning trash and recycling bins indoors on Thursdays
• Pack and prepare Review Boxes accurately and efficiently for shipment.
• Assist with stocking shelves in the office area as time allows.
• Sweep stones and debris from the roadway into designated areas, approximately twice per month.
• Support general warehouse and operational tasks as assigned to meet team needs.

• Regular standing, walking, bending, and light to moderate lifting.
• Work is performed in a warehouse setting with some outdoor responsibilities.
• Use of basic cleaning tools and standard warehouse equipment.
