Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team on 2nd shift in Kenosha County, WI!

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains a database of shipment information and documentation to ensure that customer orders are updated accurately and filed accordingly.
• Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records.
• Coordinates orders for shipment.
• Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Answers phones and generates computerized reports.
• Responsible for inventory management and cycle counts of product.
• Responsible for shipping invoices.

• Attention to detail:Accuracy is crucial in verifying shipments and maintaining records.
• Organizational skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Communication skills:Effectively communicating with team members, vendors, and other departments.
• Basic computer skills:Using inventory management systems, data entry, and potentially barcode scanners.
• Physical stamina:This role often involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Supply Chain is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
