The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing the team’s workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. The supervisor ensures safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.

Work Schedule4/10 – Day Shift
Compensation and BenefitsAttractive annual salary of $65,000 – $75,000 plus bonus. Benefits include PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers.
- Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
- Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
- Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
- Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
- Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
- Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
- Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and timesheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints, associate concerns, productivity, and quality of work.
- Oversee associates.
- Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for a food‑grade warehouse.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required.
- 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
- Inventory experience a plus.
- Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
