Ariens Co is seeking a proven Inventory Control Technician for our office in Kenosha, WI. Pay: starting at $22/hr shift: either Tuesday‑Friday 6:00am–4:30pm or Monday‑Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.
Responsibilities- Count materials or supplies in stock and work with appropriate buyers to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate/monitor distribution center inventory on a daily basis.
- Assist quality control in removing scrap from inventory.
- Reconcile inventory balances.
- Cycle count all finished goods and engines to ensure that system balances equal counted balances.
- Investigate discrepancies and understand rationale behind all adjustments.
- Manage inventory by identifying and eliminating problems.
- Perform internal audits as necessary.
- Assist and communicate directly with external auditors.
- Work, support and assist material distribution leaders.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.
- Oversee finished goods inventory by leveraging advanced knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations.
- Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- Understand the interrelationships between all functional areas that affect inventory balances and the associated transactions that occur.
- Strong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills; problem‑solving ability.
- Required to frequently walk, sit for at least 8–10 hours a day.
- Required to lift at least 25lbs. at varying frequencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
