Forklift Operator, II

Overview

At Zebra, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to perform shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory tasks, operating industrial forklifts and other equipment to support the efficient movement of merchandise within the facility.

• Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.
• Picks and stages orders for shipping.
• Load, unload, put away, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
• Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
• Learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Handle and control hazardous material on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
• Complete all required safety training and follow protocol for risk situations.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain and evaluate equipment condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Less than 1 year of proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
• Operates industrial forklifts and warehouse equipment including stand‑up reach, sit‑down order picker, and pallet jack.
• Knowledge of all functions within own area.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving, and loading functions.
• Certification on powered industrial trucks (sit‑down, dock stocker, powered pallet jack).
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 40 pounds.

Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 plus eligibility for a performance‑based annual cash incentive (target equal to 3% of base pay). Benefits include healthcare, wellness, employee assistance program, paid time off, and other standard compensations.
