Uline Inc., a leader in wholesale shipping and industrial supplies, is seeking an Overnight Warehouse Department Manager to lead a high-volume distribution operation. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you'll supervise an overnight team, manage workflow, and ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment. Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, monitoring KPIs, driving productivity, and enforcing strict safety and quality standards. You'll coordinate inventory flow, optimize processes, and coach team members to meet clear performance goals, supporting Uline's strong customer service and rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise overnight warehouse associates to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
  • Plan and manage labor scheduling, task assignments, and workflow across the department.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Oversee inventory flow, including put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, OSHA, and company compliance standards on all shifts.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members, providing feedback and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support on-time order fulfillment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to support continuous improvement and cost control.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment aligned with 5
  • S and best practices.
  • Report operational results to leadership and support execution of company goals and initiatives.
