Academic Records and Transfer Coordinator

Kent State University is hiring an Academic Records and Transfer Coordinator. The role involves coordinating academic records activities, evaluating transfer credits, managing student record life cycles, and ensuring compliance with university, state, and federal policies while serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrative staff.

• Coordinate academic records and evaluate externally earned credits to maintain data integrity.
• Manage student records from transfer credit articulation to permanent retention.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, Ohio Department of Higher Education, and other regulations.
• Serve as primary liaison for enrollment and record transactions with students, faculty, and staff.
• Provide subject matter expertise on registrar policies and credit transferability.
• Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and reporting issue resolution.
• Collaborate across departments to support accurate academic data and enrollment services.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite and other software to perform data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree with 1 year registrar experience, Associate's degree with 3 years experience, or 5 years related experience.
• Salary range is $37,843 - $40,000 annually.
