Academic Operations Coordinator

Kent State University is hiring an Academic Operations Coordinator. This role involves coordinating academic administrative and operational functions within the Office of the University Registrar, focusing on enrollment services and academic scheduling. The coordinator supports registration, transcript processing, records integrity, compliance, reporting, and communication across campus while ensuring adherence to policies and regulations such as FERPA.

• Coordinate enrollment services and academic scheduling within the University Registrar's Office.
• Provide subject matter expertise on registrar services, policies, and processes.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and system upgrades.
• Conduct academic scheduling tasks, including course section management, space utilization, and scheduling issue resolution.
• Support enrollment registration, verification, transcript services, and ensure data accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and registrar‑related software systems; skilled in data entry and spreadsheet management.
• Knowledge of FERPA, Ohio Revised Code, and related university, state, and federal policies.
• Minimum qualifications:
  
  Bachelor's degree plus one year of registrar or related experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Salary range: $37,843 - $40,000.
• Reports to designated supervisor; serves as liaison between administrative staff, students, faculty, and external parties.
