Part‑time position;
Monday – Friday, 5 AM – 10 AM.
Dispatch Assistants satisfy customers by providing consistent and reliable on‑time pick‑up and delivery of shipments.
- Assist the Service Center Manager, Operations Manager and/or supervisors
- Provide assistance to drivers
- Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts
- Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies
May also be asked to assist with:
- Data entry
- Answering phones
- Freight reports
- Driver collect reports
- Billing and filing
- Knowledge and skill proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent keyboarding skills
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Available to work a second‑shift schedule
