Job Title

The city of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre (with a population of over 20,000 and a member of Nantes Metropole) is looking for RECREATION LEADERS FOR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR 3-11 YEAR OLDS. This is a part-time contract from August 31, 2026, to July 2, 2027, for 23.25 hours per week (assistant animation grade). Within the framework of the local educational project, the after-school and leisure centers in Chapelle-sur-Erdre are places of awakening, education, and development for children. Each reception center develops a pedagogical project that seeks to meet the needs and expectations of children. Under the authority of a site director, you will carry out the following missions:

• Welcome a group of children, ensuring their emotional, physical, and moral safety
• Accompany the children on the school bus
• Design and implement activities of animation and leisure in coherence with the local educational project and the pedagogical project of the reception center
• Participate in the smooth operation of the reception center

Additional duties:

• Participate in the maintenance of the dining room
• Participate in the setup, tidying, and cleaning of equipment and furniture

Specifics of the position:

• 23.25 hours per week, annualized with variable working hours between 8 am and 6:35 pm (Monday to Friday, during school periods), which can be split throughout the day with combinable tasks (adaptability required). Annualized schedule
• Intervention on all types of receptions
• Some possible meetings in the evening or on Saturday
• Required clothing equipment according to the tasks

• The needs of the child
• The reception of a public in a situation of disability
• Regulation and safety of users in child care
• Animation and supervision techniques
• Project methodology
• The territorial environment (educational project, CTG, organization of the community and LEJ service, contacts…)
• Educational actors and their roles

Remuneration: approximately 1127 euros net, employer participation of 50% in the provision, membership to COS 44

Your skills and assets:

• You have a training in the field of animation (BAFA, BAFD, BPJEPS,...)
• You have a B permit
• You have experience in the field of child animation
• You are dynamic, responsible, and enjoy working in a team
• You know how to build a trusting relationship with children, the animation team, partners, and parents

Contract duration: 12 months
