Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and optimization of dip molding and dip coating equipment. The candidate must have a deep understanding of equipment and machine design, material handling automation and robotics with strong mechanical engineering principles, team leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex equipment automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and company goals.
- Oversee the design and development of equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to meet project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing techniques, with a strong focus on material handling automation and robotics.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management.
- Present technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Solid Works including PDM Vault and Simulation experience.
- Expertise in dip molding and dip coating processes is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
