Join Weyerhaeuser’s Product Engineering team and help develop products used in real structures across North America—from concept through manufacturing and field application.

In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to solve real‑world challenges. Responsibilities include structural analysis, supporting customers in the field, contributing to code approvals, and helping bring new products to market. You will also develop design tools, improve technical literature, and work with manufacturing teams to deliver production‑ready solutions, while gaining exposure to laboratory testing and building codes.

• Apply building and design codes (IBC, IRC, NDS, ASCE) to develop product design properties, construction details, literature and structural software applications
• Support an engineering team by resolving technical issues encountered in the field
• Interpret and translate testing data into clear, actionable insights to support building code approval of new and existing products
• Build technical expertise in engineered wood manufacturing, including participation in plant audits to ensure product quality
• Contribute to new product development initiatives—from concept through commercialization
• Plan, conduct, and oversee structural testing programs, including test execution, analysis, and technical reporting

• Engineer‑in‑training certification
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited institution required

This role is eligible for our annual merit‑increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $69,300‑$113,500 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5‑7% of base pay.
