Position: Care Partner
Position Type: Part-Time
Location: Kent, Ohio
Wage range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour!

Shift

Schedule:

• Week 1:
  Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday
• Week 2:
  Monday/Wednesday/Friday
• 6am-10am

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

• 💯: create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
• Engaged Egghead: be curious, ask questions. Don’t assume that just because you don’t know, you can’t find out. Be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
• Proactive with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude, loves residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
• Active: ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assisting persons after a fall.
• Criminal clearance required.
