Medical Records-Scheduler"Clinical Management Position"
Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records professional to join our team at Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation in Kent, OH. As a Medical Records professional, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and organized medical records for patients receiving care at our facility
  • Ensure all records are up-to-date, complete, and compliant with HIPAA regulations
  • Perform audits and quality control checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve medical record discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in medical record management
  • Develop and implement processes to improve medical record management efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
  • Active Nursing License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
  • 0 years of experience in medical records management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
