Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized mental health and substance use service provider, is seeking a crisis therapist to be part of a co-responder mobile crisis team with area first responders in Marion/Crawford Counties.
Are you a licensed social worker or counselor (LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC) who is passionate about behavioral health? Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in the Marion/Crawford County community? We are currently looking for a full-time licensed therapist to work out of the Marion Police Department on Mondays - Fridays from 12pm - 8pm.
Employee Package includes*:- $65,000 to $75,000 salary range depends on educational level, licensure level, and experience
- Supervision toward independent licensure if needed

- Co-respond with law enforcement or other first responders to behavioral health crises
- Triage, de-escalation, assessment, safety plan and link persons to behavioral health services
- Coordinate transportation for crisis stabilization
- Provide follow up for individuals who have experienced a mental health emergency at an emergency department
- Coordinate and collaborate with community resources and stakeholders
- Outcome reporting
- Performance improvement
- Community engagement and education
- A master's degree in Social Work and Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or above; OR
- A master's degree in Community Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling and licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or above
- Willing to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and Ohio Medicaid Provider Number (we will help)
- Excellent Driving Record
- Trauma focused and strength-based philosophy
- Exercises balanced judgment in highly charged situations while remaining calm and consistent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Independently Licensed staff (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S)
- Experience with community behavioral health crisis services, psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms
