Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist

Presence, a fast-growing digital marketing and web development agency, is seeking a Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist to support our healthcare and medical clients. In this remote Ohio-based role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape digital strategies, optimize online patient experiences, and support campaigns that drive measurable growth. You'll translate healthcare service needs into effective digital solutions, leveraging data, SEO, and content strategy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary remote liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and internal Presence teams using our communication and productivity platforms.
• Coordinate and support delivery of virtual care and healthcare services through Presence's software solutions.
• Onboard and train healthcare staff and partners on Presence's tools, workflows, and best practices.
• Monitor utilization, performance metrics, and user feedback to ensure our platforms drive clinical and operational improvements.
• Assist providers with optimizing telehealth workflows, patient communication, documentation, and care coordination using Presence tools.
• Identify, document, and escalate complex clinical, operational, or technical issues to appropriate internal teams.
• Collaborate with product, customer success, and support teams to translate user feedback into actionable product and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights from the field and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide proactive communication to stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and successful adoption of Presence solutions.

Required Skills

• Clinical workflow knowledge (e.g., ambulatory, hospital, or telehealth settings)
• Experience with telehealth or virtual care platforms
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare documentation standards
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Healthcare data entry and record-keeping accuracy
• Proficiency with cloud-based software and basic troubleshooting
• Data monitoring and basic analytics/metric interpretation
• Remote communication skills (video, phone, secure messaging)
• Training and onboarding of clinical/administrative staff on software tools
• Care coordination and patient engagement practices
• Problem-solving and issue escalation in a healthcare setting
• Writing clear clinical or operational notes and reports
