Job Details
Performs procedures involving blood collection, central receiving/specimen handling, and limited technical functions to assist the technologist in performing laboratory analysis.
Education and TrainingHigh school graduate or equivalent.
Certificate in Phlebotomy or as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Six months previous phlebotomy experience AND/OR completion of a Medical Assistant Program OR a Phlebotomy Program.
BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire and/or transfer.
ExperienceSix months previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
Variable ScheduleHours:
24 Hours per week
- 7:00-3:30p
- 7:30-4:00p
- 8:00-5:00p
Will travel to offsite labs located in Hudson, Akron, Kent, Tallmadge
