HR and Compliance Generalist (CME/OhioRISE)

If you want to make a difference, we want you on our team! We are seeking a Human Resources & Compliance Generalist to provide support to employees and managers in the CME/OhioRISE business unit on matters including employee relations, benefits, training, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employment law. This position is 100% in-office and based out of our Kent, Ohio, location.

- Recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding
- Create job postings, post to applicable sites
- Participate in recruiting events (e.g., career fairs, open interviews)
- Assist with screening and interviewing candidates
- Provide recruitment guidance and share recommendations for process improvements.
- Oversee candidates complete various required screenings and ensure all required paperwork is collected prior to hire and when onboarding
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process, and complete training letters.
- HR leadership and support
- Advocate for employees and be a resource for both employees and managers
- Mediate differences between employees, and help managers improve their relationships with their employees
- Lead and conduct unbiased employee-related investigations
- Coordinate Company events
- Serve as front-line support to answer employees' HR-related questions (benefits, compensation, etc.)
- Volunteer and Intern Coordination
- Assist with compliance audits as necessary
- Occasional to regular day travel to the various CME locations within Ohio
- Other duties as assigned
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of related HR experience with emphasis on recruitment/selection and employee relations
- Creativity with finding qualified candidates
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have relevant Human Resources and Compliance experience in a healthcare setting
- Master's degree in Human Resources Administration or related field
