Schneller LLC is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support our fast-paced manufacturing operation. If you have experience with inventory management, cycle counting, forklift operation, and ERP systems - and enjoy keeping operations organized and running efficiently - we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well in a team environment, and enjoys hands-on warehouse and inventory responsibilities that directly support production success.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and material verification
- Receive and inspect raw materials, components, and production supplies
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and receiving issues
- Organize warehouse storage locations for maximum efficiency and FIFO material flow
- Support production by ensuring materials are available and accurately tracked
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and inventory areas
- Assist with shipping, receiving, labeling, packaging, and documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency
- Support team members and other operational projects as needed
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Working knowledge of inventory control procedures and FIFO systems
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory transactions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Ability to read documentation and perform basic math calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
