NOW HIRING:
Slitter Machine Operator
Full-Time Opportunity
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $18.00-$20.00+ per hour (Based on Experience & Interview)
Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a long-term manufacturing career? We're seeking a dependable Slitter Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for candidates who take pride in producing high-quality work, can work independently, and have strong attention to detail.
What You'll Do:
* Operate slitting and converting equipment to process adhesive film products
* Load and unload large rolls of material (5+ feet in length) onto production equipment
* Measure and cut materials according to product specifications
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
* Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer requirements
* Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and production specifications
* Troubleshoot minor production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For:
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift and handle large rolls of material safely
* Stable work history with 1-2+ years at previous employers preferred
* Professional attitude and ability to interview well
Preferred Experience:
Slitter Machine Operation
Printing Industry Experience
Compounding Experience
Extrusion Experience
Manufacturing or Production Machine Operation
