CNC Lathe Programmer

Mancan Staffing is helping out a manufacturing company in Kent who is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Programer to join the team!

Hours are 8a-5p Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.
Starting at $20-$30 based on experience.

Duties:

• Program CNC lathe and CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.

• Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining operations.

• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.

• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC machines (lathe and milling).

• Familiarity with Solid Works and CAD software machining is preferred.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
