* * Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Kent, OH
* At Med Mark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. In the first days of treatment, we'll design an individualized plan that's suited to patient needs. We don't just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment;
Med Mark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. All of our services focus on helping patients achieve long-term sobriety to enhance their wellbeing and improve quality of life.

* Primary Job Function:
* * Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.

* To obtain a history and physical exam.

* Documentation into the EMR.

* To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director's absence.

* Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.

* Other related duties as determined by supervisor

* Qualifications | Education |

Certifications:

* * NP's have AANP licensure/PA's must have be licensed in OH

* One-year of addiction medicine experience required

* Must have 6 months of MAT experience required

* Candidates must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population

* Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
