UVM Front-End Developer

The UVM Front-End Developer 1 is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing front-end components to ensure responsive designs that adapt seamlessly across all devices. This role collaborates with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver high quality products, write clean code, and resolve cross-browser and cross-platform issues. Additionally, the role will contribute to improving development processes, participate in code review, and assist with testing and quality assurance processes.

This position works in an office environment.

• Design, implement, and optimize front-end components and features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and implement responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices for optimal user experience across all platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to best practices and follows internal DRG code guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser and cross-platform issues for consistent functionality and performance across environments.
• Assist in testing and quality assurance processes of front-end applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, adherence to best practices, and alignment with project requirements while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver innovative, high-quality products that meet both user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with software development team members to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Continuously research and update knowledge of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices to deliver cutting‑edge solutions.
• Provide collaborative solutions for clients, ensuring a customer‑centric approach and successful implementation of software products.
• Participate in technical discussions to contribute insights, evaluate solutions, and collaborate on decisions that drive project success and innovation.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Required:
  
  Successfully complete on‑the‑job training for DRG UVM‑specific technologies and systems.
• Required:
  
  Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

  Familiarity with responsive design principles.
