Head Housekeeper

Head Housekeeper required for a hotel located outside the outer Ashford, Kent, area.
What’s on offer:
 * £32,000 to £35,000 / per annum
 
* Live-in accommodation if required

About the role:

As Head Housekeeper, you will be confident managing a team in a busy hotel environment. You will be organised, hands-on and be able to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
Who we’re looking for:
You will already have housekeeping experience from within a hotel or similar, ideally as a Housekeeping Manager, Head Housekeeper, or alternatively, you may be a housekeeping supervisor / team leader, currently looking for your first senior Head Housekeeper appointment. Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the day to day running of the Housekeeping Department.
 
* Inspect guest bedrooms and public areas to ensure high standards.
 
* Train, motivate and develop your housekeeping team members.
 
* Rota scheduling of your housekeeping team according to the business levels.
 
* Manage and ensure Health & Safety, COSHH, lost property and key procedures.
 
* Ensure furnishings and equipment are in good repair and report maintenance issues.
 
* Manage linen stock and housekeeping supplies costs.
 
* Manage a 7 day operation, to include week-ends on a rota basis according to business levels.
 
* Assist hands-on with room preparation when required.
