Billing Specialist/Invoice Clerk
This role involves converting orders and shipments placed by the Order Entry Department into invoices using the billing system. Additional tasks include mailing and emailing invoices, scanning support documentation into the system, and entering Credit Memos from hard paper forms into the system. We seek a detail-oriented individual who is highly concerned with accuracy, proficient with systems, and understands the intricacies of customer invoicing and credit memos.
Responsibilities- Convert orders and shipments into invoices using the billing system.
- Mail and email invoices to customers.
- Scan and upload support documentation into the system.
- Enter Credit Memos from hard paper forms into the system.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all invoicing and data entry tasks.
- Analyze and add information such as tracking numbers to invoices.
- Reconcile purchase orders and invoices.

This position is onsite in an office space working alongside the Staff Accountant. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours a week for 1 month, with working hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, 5 days a week. The environment is system-generated and routine, with a high volume of invoices (400-500 daily) and Credit Memos (50-75 daily, with an increase towards month-end).

This is a Contract position based out of Kent, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
