Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Officer to support administrative finance, grants, agreements, and ethics coordination for Project RESET. You will help ensure smooth operations through careful budget tracking, timely submissions, and well-documented processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance and grant management (70%)
    • Administer budgets, procurement, and grant processes to enable effective use of funds and smooth project operations.
    • Maintain expenditure trackers, prepare simple forecasts, process purchases and claims, and compile quarterly submissions for subawardees.
    • Monitor consumables/equipment to ensure adequacy and good condition.
  • Project agreements and ethics approvals (20%)
    • Manage end‑to‑end project agreements (from document preparation to routing and signatures) with proper documentation and timely execution.
    • Coordinate DSRB/IRB submissions and ensure applications are filed within deadlines.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to progress agreements and approvals.
  • Ad‑hoc support (10%)
    • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Project RESET team as needed.
    • Assist with participant visits and other operational tasks.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, with at least 4 years of experience in biomedical research, research administration, finance and operations.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Self‑directed individual with initiative, resourceful, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and strong project management capabilities.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
