Synopsis: Tri Tec Manufacturing is looking for a skilled Sales Administrative Assistant

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Synopsis:
Tri-Tec is searching for an Administrative Assistant to support its Sales and Contract department. The Sales Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales and contract department for new and existing customer inquiries and requests. This includes preparing orders and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Must maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions and progress in customer relationships.

This position requires an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The person must have exceptional organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. Resiliency and the ability to adapt quickly in a heavy volume environment will be key to successfully fulfilling the position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports; analyzing, interpreting, and entering data; and identifying solutions.
  • Maintain sales/contract filing system and database.
  • Prepare quotes for new and existing customers using the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) index, following up on expiring quotes, sales reports, and customer follow up.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school or associate’s degree.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Strong English communication, grammar, and spelling skills.
  • Must be highly organized, independent, and be a great problem-solver.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (heavy Excel).
  • To conform with Federal guidelines, employees must be U.S. citizens.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to read, write and manipulate documents in Adobe Acrobat with high levels of proficiency.
  • Experience with sales and customer service.
