Apprentice Autocare Technician
GTG Training is recruiting an Apprentice Autocare Technician for an independent garage located in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in the automotive industry.

- Full‑time work in a garage workshop
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Removal, replacement and overhaul of major components
- Electrical fault diagnostics
- Use of tools, measuring devices and fabrication techniques
- Inspection of light vehicles
- Diagnosing and rectifying chassis and engine units
- Health and safety risk reduction
- Workplace housekeeping
Apprentices will attend block release training weeks at GTG Wolverhampton, progressing to Level 2 Autocare Technician or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician.
Qualifications & Requirements- GCSE level or above in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject (or equivalent)
- Willingness to learn and develop practical automotive skills
- Dedicated and proactive approach to work and learning Personal Qualities
- Eager to kickstart a career in the automotive industry
- Proactive and self‑motivated
- Ready to work in a practical environment using own initiative
- Committed to workplace safety and clean environment
