Job Description
The ASE Automotive Technician independently performs a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks focused on general repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, executing engine and brake repairs, maintaining electrical systems, and replacing parts as needed. The technician occasionally interacts with customers to ensure quality service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues using industry-standard techniques
- Perform engine repair and maintenance tasks
- Maintain and repair brake systems
- Service electrical systems and components
- Replace worn or damaged parts
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in automotive repair
- ASE Certification
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of engine repair
- Expertise in brake systems and electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
