Operations Manager
Warehouse Coordinator – Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to will call customers, truck drivers and internal departments. Including, but not limited to, communicating change order responses to Inside Sales, managing customer close orders, and coordinating receipt and dispatch of goods with carriers and suppliers for Inter-Branch truckloads and customer deliveries. (50%)
- Generate bills of lading. In addition, manage order change requests via email. (30%)
- Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting procedures in the Warehouse, including Kronos timekeeping and reviewing time-off requests. (10%)
- Input data into MRP (Blue screen) and review paperwork. Analyze information and follow up on errors, exceptions and opportunities. Identify, coordinate and implement opportunities for improvement and accountability in these information flow processes. (10%)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2 years minimum related warehouse/manufacturing experience or training.
- Equipment:
Operate Forklift, reach truck, order picker and electric pallet jack. - Mathematical Reasoning:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. - Attendance:
Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance. - Speaking:
Able to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one with all departments and at all levels within the organization. - Safety:
Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating a safe work practice by promoting a safe work environment. - Problem Solving:
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. - Teamwork:
Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goals. - Results Focus & Initiative:
Ability to multi task and take initiative in a challenging, fast‑paced environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. The employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
WorkEnvironment
Regularly works around moving mechanical parts. The noise level is loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions.
Location & StatusThis full‑time, non‑exempt position is located in Kent, WA. It is not eligible for remote work.
TravelThis job does not require travel.
CompensationPay: $30.38 – $48.61 per hour.
