HQNW Staffing Coordinator Job Description
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing relationships, coordinating staffing needs, scheduling, and contributing to the success of the branch. Our staffing coordinators excel at community outreach, networking, and recruiting temps.

Operations
- Dispatch temporary employees with clear expectations of site work, client, and behavior.
- Sign out any PPE or equipment for job with temporary employees and ensure their return.
- Mitigate any issues with temporary employees.
- Perform daily and weekly pay outs for temporary employees.
- Submit all billing/invoicing for the branch by close of business on Tuesdays.
Human Resources:
- Handle all temporary employees unemployment claims in a timely manner and follow policy.
- Handle workers compensation claims in a timely manner and follow policy.
- Conduct workers compensation investigations.
- Assign pay-cards.
- Recruit temporary employees and coach branch core staff to screen 15 temporary employees per week as a branch.
- Participate in recruiting for temp staffing needs.
- Schedule job fairs and community outreach events.

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands
- Non-confined office-type setting and is free to move about position includes driving a vehicle which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
- In the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 40 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
- May operate any or all of the following: telephone, cell phone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), scanner and image systems, scanning equipment, laptop computer, personal computer, tablet, printers, or other equipment as directed.
