We are in search of a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Washington DC. In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from planning and budgeting to coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Prepare project budgets and schedules
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure project plans are followed
- Monitor progress of construction work and update stakeholders regularly
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents
- Experience managing budgets and schedules for large-scale projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Indian nationality preferred due to client preference
- Experience working on construction projects in Washington DC
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work part-time if needed
- Valid visa and willingness to relocate if necessary
