Reservationist

MV Transportation is seeking a Reservationist to support safe, reliable transit services for riders in our community. In this role, you will answer inbound calls to book, update, and confirm paratransit and shuttle trips, ensuring accurate trip details and courteous service. You will work in our reservation system to enter ride information, verify eligibility, and coordinate with dispatch when changes or issues arise.

Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping passengers reach essential destinations on time.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to create, modify, and cancel transportation reservations
• Verify rider eligibility and collect accurate trip and contact details
• Use reservation and scheduling software to enter and update trip information
• Provide clear information on schedules, policies, and ride expectations
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to resolve trip issues or changes
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Follow safety, privacy, and data accuracy procedures on every call
• Meet performance standards for call quality, accuracy, and productivity
